Most of the year, Quartzsite, AZ is a harsh desert wasteland. But during those long Rocky Mountain winters, Q becomes a paradise for snowbirds and nomads alike. Communities gather to drum and sing through the night, flea markets explode with activity, and travelers seek out upgrades for their RVs, vans, and trailers in preparation for the next summer.
Quartzsite is where we got started, and it’s also where we bought our first wind turbine. Sitting in the middle of two mountain ranges, Quartzsite is like a funnel channeling strong wind storms. And we weren’t the first to try wind power. Hundreds of flagpoles are flying out in the Quartzsite BLM campgrounds, supporting flags, starlink dishes, HAM radio antennae and even a few wind turbines here and there. Because the real full-time nomads knew - solar is not enough when the clouds come out for days on end.
Hours of Operation
Our mobile services are available from 9:30AM to 4:30PM, Tuesday thru Saturday.
We offer our services in Quartzsite every winter from December thru February.
