Is Your Solar System Costing You Money?

(Spoiler: If your batteries die often or never drop to 50% capacity, the answer is YES)

Most installers in Quartzsite don’t design systems - they just slap on panels and batteries and call it good. Result?

  • Too little power? You’re stuck buying extra solar/batteries later (plus new wiring & fuses)

  • Too much power? You’re hauling dead weight, wasting gas, and overpaying by $1,000+

We fix that.

  • Free Solar Audits this winter (yes, actually free - Quartzsite AZ only).

    • Limit of 10 Free Audits per week - reach out before they’re gone!

    • $50/Audit after the limit is reached

  • Right-sized systems - no waste, no shortages.

  • We’ll even buy back your extra panels/wiring at fair market value (and patch your roof properly).

Why? Because we value your freedom and sovereignty - not just a quick paycheck.

Call, Text, or Email Us to claim your FREE audit - let’s get your system working for you, not against you.

The Solar Ark Process: Projects Approached with Structure and Soul

Whether you’re looking for a quick electrical repair, an upgrade to your rig, or a full off-grid system, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how we roll - Adaptable, Transparent, and always built for your Sovereignty.

Get Started with the Initial Questionnaire
  • We start every project by understanding your unique needs. The process starts from our initial questionnaire to get us both oriented. We’ll then discuss your responses together via phone, email, or zoom, and determine the best path forward. Worried about price? Every penny spent here is deducted from future design/installation costs with Solar Ark™.

Flexibility Note: Small jobs? We’ll keep it brief and get you powered up fast, no unnecessary costs. Big projects? We’ll take the time to plan it right, no corners cut.

  • Your solar system isn’t just a setup - it’s the backbone of your adventure. At Solar Ark™, we transform your vision into a custom blueprint, ready for installation. With a degree in Energy and Power Systems Engineering and training in the National Electrical Code, we design every system for safety, quality, and your unique lifestyle.

We’ll calculate your energy demands, then craft a solar and battery system tuned to your needs - whether you’re a weekend warrior or a full-time nomad.

Flexibility Note: Already have a design? Let’s verify it first, so we can safely move straight to installation! Not starting from scratch? We’ll note those details in the design and adjust as-needed.

  • This is where your vision becomes reality. At Solar Ark™, we don’t just install systems. We build rugged, reliable power solutions designed to thrive in the toughest conditions. Our mobile workshop is packed with professional-grade tools - Fluke multimeters, hydraulic crimpers, and more - to ensure clean, safe, and tidy electrical work every time.

We know heat is the silent killer of electrical systems, so we verify every connection with resistance testing, current monitoring, and more. With a 1-year warranty on labor and workmanship, you can trust that we stand by our work, no exceptions.

Flexibility Note: Need a mechanical upgrade or custom installation? If we have the tools and resources, we can make it happen!

  • Our relationship doesn’t have to end after installation. At Solar Ark™, we’re your long-term solar partners, offering support services to keep your system and your adventures running smoothly.

    • Electrical Repairs - troubleshoot and fix faulty wiring, panels, or batteries

    • Component Upgrades - add more panels, batteries, or lighting as your needs grow

    • Mechanical Services - refinish rusty roof racks, install vent fans, awnings, or other rig tweaks

    • Solar Armor™ - repair and fortify solar panel frames for extreme terrain

    • Education Workshops - learn how to maintain and optimize your system
(coming soon, be sure to subscribe via email!)

Every project is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Some complex mechanical overhauls may be outside our scope, but we’ll always point you in the right direction.

Have an emergency? We get it - time is critical. We’ll either get you back up and running fast or help you craft an alternative plan.

Adaptability - We’ll Always Find The Way

Adaptability isn’t just one of our core values - its how we thrive in the wild. As a nomadic business, we’re always anticipating the challenges of changing weather, rough terrain, or even broken gear. We know life and nature can be a bit unpredictable, so we’re always willing to work with you to get to the finish line.

On the other hand, we are not invincible! We have to set some soft boundaries to keep ourselves healthy and safe, so that we can keep providing our quality services for years to come. Read our ‘Operating Conditions’ below to see how we roll.

Our Core Values

Operating Conditions

Nomadic by nature, strategic by design.

Our services span the Rocky Mountain region, from Arizona to Montana - but we’re not reckless. Safety and effectiveness drive our work, which means we avoid dangerous conditions like Montana’s winter deep-freeze or Arizona’s scorching summer heat. Our general operating conditions for on-site work ensure we can deliver quality without compromising safety or sanity

  • Virtual consultations and design work are always available, regardless of season or location.

  • Installations outside these conditions? We’ll consider them case-by-case - just ask!

  • Every painting needs a canvas and a soul. In the same way, we operate like a living picture - organized and adaptable. Our hours of operation are the structure, while our flexibility is the soul. Have an emergency? Need some help beyond our typical hours? We’re human - we’ve got you covered.

    Tuesdays: 10:30AM - 3:00PM

    Wednesdays: 9:30AM - 4:00PM

    Thursdays: 9:30AM - 4:00PM

    Fridays: 9:30AM - 4:00PM

    Saturdays: 9:30AM - 2:00PM

    Sundays/Mondays: OFF

    Mountain Daylight Time

We operate by appointment only with exceptions for local clients.

We are happy to accommodate flexible appointment dates/times by request. Contact us to schedule anytime! Appointments scheduled on Sundays or Mondays or at abnormal hours subject to Flexibility Fee of 10%.

  • We operate like a snowbird - always moving with the earth. It’s not that we can’t take the heat. We just like to play it smart. Here’s a general guide to our migration pattern, so you can catch us when the time is right.

Arizona, New Mexico, Western Texas - Winter (Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar)

Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Southern Idaho, Wyoming - Spring and Fall (Apr, May; Sept, Oct)

Idaho, Montana, (possibly Alaska?) - Summer (June, July, Aug)

*We travel seasonally to these regions for project-based work. All services are performed under our Arizona LLC, and we do not solicit business or maintain a physical presence in these states. For local inquiries, contact us to discuss availability.

  • We’re all about safety, comfort, and quality - for you and us. Here’s what we need to do our best work:

    Temperature Limits:

We thrive in 60°F to 75°F weather, but hit our limits at 32°F and 90°F. Working outside these ranges isn’t just uncomfortable - it’s unsafe. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, we’ll reschedule (or wait it out with a siesta) to keep everyone happy and healthy.

    Weather Conditions:

We don’t work in rain, thunderstorms, hail, snow, or excessive wind. A little mist won’t hurt, but a bit of rust will later on. We’re tough, but we’re not storm chasers. Safety first, always.

    Location:

The service location must be safe and legal for us to work. No Walmart parking lots, please! But a dispersed camping area? Now we’re talking. Wherever the install site may be, we’ll need to confirm access, parking, overnight lodging, and any site-specific hazards beforehand. If conditions change for the worse, we may need to delay or reschedule - your safety and ours is non-negotiable.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • A: Our process for starting any project with us is streamlined and simple.

    • First, fill out the initial client questionnaire and return it to us at SolarArkElectrical@gmail.com. We will contact you shortly after.

    • Next, book an initial consultation meeting so that we can understand your vision and goals. We will let you know if you need to do this, depending on how big your project is.

    • Finally, answer any further questions we may have for you. We will build an initial estimate with the scope of work in preparation for design and installation.

Its that easy! Let us do the hard parts for you.

  • A: We accept conventional payment methods such as cash, credit and debit, bank transfer, and (for payments less than $1000) traditional checks. For payments over $1000, a cashier’s check or money order is accepted. Zelle, Cash App, Apple Pay, and other payment apps are not accepted.

Have gold or silver? See our terms and conditions - we may accept these as forms of payment.

We do not offer financing at this time.

  • A: If there’s a will, there’s a way. There are many unique rigs out there, whether it be a custom teardrop trailer, Volkswagen bus, school bus, ambulance, motorcycle trailer, or even a sailboat. But just because nobody has done it before, doesn’t mean it can’t be done right. There are many tools and products on the market to make solar a reality for you, whether it be a rigid panel mounted on crossbars, a flexible panel for those curved roofs, or even a fold-up panel and power station for when a permanent install just doesn’t make sense. It’s never about whether it can be done. Its about the willpower to create an effective, quality design regardless of the obstacles in place. And we’ll be sure to help you understand the pros and cons of each option, so that you are confident in your new electrical system.

  • A: Trust me, you’re not alone. These technical specifications can be daunting to understand, especially when you don’t deal with them often. Lucky for you, we [will] have articles, resources, and even a blog (All Coming Soon!) to teach newbies and experts alike how to understand these technologies. You don’t need an electrical engineering degree to understand this stuff. You just need a foundation in the basics, and maybe some multiplication skills, to understand and appreciate your electrical system(s). Leave the complex numbers and converter theory to us - unless you have a strange obsession with electricity like myself. So go check out our resources, and let the beauty of solar power be yours to see.
